Bruce Glover, the veteran character actor known for his roles in Diamonds Are Forever and Chinatown, died on March 12, 2025, at the age of 92. He passed away from natural causes.

Glover was widely recognized for his portrayal of the eccentric assassin Mr. Wint in the 1971 James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever. His performance, paired with Putter Smith as Mr. Kidd, brought a distinctive and unsettling charm to the film’s villain duo. His character became one of the most memorable adversaries in the Bond franchise.

In Chinatown (1974), Glover appeared in a smaller but notable role, adding to the noir tension of the film directed by Roman Polanski. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, he built a career as a reliable and versatile character actor, often cast in offbeat, intense, or menacing roles.

Born on May 2, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, Glover began acting in the 1950s. He appeared in dozens of television shows, including Mission: Impossible, The Mod Squad, Perry Mason, and The Six Million Dollar Man. His film work spanned genres—from action and suspense to drama and experimental cinema.
